LND Energy’s 2026 Opening Flagship Delivery: High-Efficiency Energy Storage Step-Up Transformers to Serbia, Empowering the Balkans‘ Energy Transition with Tier2+ Efficiency and Environmental Advantages

On January 30, 2026 (local time), four 10MVA/35kV oil-immersed energy storage step-up transformers independently developed and customized by Germany’s LND Energy GmbH were packed and shipped, marking their official delivery to a new energy client in Serbia. These units will provide core grid-connection and step-up support for two local standalone energy storage plants, while kicking off the company’s large-scale delivery of power equipment across Europe in 2026. Its German-quality standards and efficient fulfillment capabilities have earned high recognition from the client.
The four Lindemann-Regner branded transformers (manufactured at the Jiangsu, China production base) are tailor-made for bidirectional power regulation in energy storage scenarios, fully compliant with Serbia’s 35kV grid access requirements. Their core parameters and performance strictly adhere to international standards and project specifications, achieving dual breakthroughs in environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. The entire process—from client order placement to packaging and shipment—took only 58 days, demonstrating the company’s leading capabilities in customized R&D and rapid delivery.
In terms of environmental performance, the equipment abandons traditional mineral oil, adopting natural vegetable oil ester insulation medium that meets IEC 62770:2024 standards. Derived from renewable plant sources, it boasts a biodegradation rate exceeding 95% and a flash point above 300°C, being non-toxic and pollution-free. It not only meets the EU’s stringent environmental and fire safety regulations but also aligns with global green energy transition goals, significantly reducing carbon emissions and laying a solid foundation for the safe, eco-friendly operation of the power plants.
For energy efficiency, the transformers achieve the EU’s Tier2+ ultra-high efficiency rating through the use of high-permeability, high-orientation silicon steel and optimized manufacturing processes. No-load loss is reduced to 7.0kW and load loss to 47.5kW, delivering substantial energy savings compared to standard Tier 2 products. Based on Serbia’s industrial energy storage tariff of 0.118 euros/kWh, a single transformer can save approximately 54,300 euros in electricity costs over a 15-year full lifecycle, effectively lowering clients’ operational expenses and boosting project profitability.
This series excels in reliability and environmental adaptability: featuring a fully sealed structure and vacuum oil-filling technology, it can operate stably in harsh environments ranging from -15°C to +40°C. Equipped with multiple protection mechanisms, it supports 1.5-2 times overload operation and operates at low noise levels, making it suitable for the long-term, high-frequency operational demands of energy storage plants.
A project manager at LND Energy commented: “The 58-day rapid delivery is made possible by the synergy between Germany’s R&D system and our global supply chain. Through end-to-end efficient management, we have minimized lead times while ensuring uncompromised quality and parameter compliance, providing robust support for the client’s project progress.”
This delivery represents a key milestone in LND Energy’s deepening presence in the Balkan new energy market, revalidating the company’s technological expertise, customization capabilities, and global delivery capacity in the medium and high-voltage transformer sector. Guided by its core competitiveness of “environmental innovation + efficient fulfillment,” the company remains focused on Europe’s critical energy scenarios.
In 2026, LND Energy will continue to deepen its footprint in the European market with high-standard equipment and integrated solutions, refining its technologies and optimizing its supply chain. It will contribute to the region’s energy structure optimization and power grid modernization, injecting momentum into Europe’s energy security with German-quality standards and collaborating with global partners to build a green, low-carbon energy future.
