A Series of Products Including Transformers and Ring Main Units Complete EU CE Certification

he transformers and supporting series products independently developed and produced by LINDEMANN-REGNER have successfully passed the EU CE certification, obtaining the „access pass“ to enter the European market. Currently, the first batch of certified products has been loaded and shipped, and will be successively sent to European countries such as Germany, France, and Spain. This marks that after deeply cultivating the Middle East market for many years, LINDEMANN-REGNER has successfully achieved a strategic breakthrough into the European high-end market.
Passing Rigorous Certification, Full-Process Quality Control Builds a Solid Foundation for Quality
As a mandatory product safety certification in the EU market, the CE certification has extremely strict standard requirements for electrical equipment in terms of safety performance, electromagnetic compatibility, energy efficiency, and environmental protection. Especially for transformer products, they must comply with multiple regulations such as the Low Voltage Directive (LVD 2014/35/EU), the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC 2014/30/EU), and the EN 61558 series of harmonized standards.
The transformers, ring main units, and other products that passed the certification this time underwent a 6-month full-process inspection. Key indicators such as insulation withstand voltage, temperature rise control, and anti-interference performance all performed excellently, passing the authoritative review of TÜV Rheinland in one go.
„The stable and reliable product performance stems from the full-chain quality control,“ introduced Mr. Swann, Product Director of LINDEMANN-REGNER. To meet the high-standard requirements of the European market, the company has established a full-process quality control system covering R&D, production, and testing. In the R&D phase, relying on a professional technical team, it has conquered core technologies such as coil winding processes and magnetic shielding design, and innovatively adopted a high-tone and middle-tone coil nesting structure to improve assembly accuracy. In the raw material procurement link, it selects core components certified by the EU and implements „one item, one code“ traceability management. In the production process, intelligent testing equipment is introduced to conduct continuous load testing for at least 72 hours on each transformer. Before leaving the factory, it also needs to pass type tests by third-party institutions to ensure that product quality meets the expectations of European customers.
Layout Local Services, Build a Solid Foundation for Market Expansion
While securing the „admission ticket“ to the market, LINDEMANN-REGNER has completed the pre-layout of the European after-sales service network to ensure product landing. Currently, the company has established a regional service center in Munich, Germany, set up spare parts warehouses in Poland and Italy, and formed a local service team composed of 15 senior engineers. It can fulfill the efficient service commitment of arriving within 24 hours of fault response and resolving issues within 48 hours.
„European customers have high requirements for the timeliness and professionalism of after-sales service. We started building the service network two years in advance to ensure that quality and reliability run through the entire product life cycle,“ introduced Mr. Frankleich, Director of Customer Service.
This entry into the European market is an important strategic extension of LINDEMANN-REGNER in the transformer business. Since 2022, LINDEMANN-REGNER’s transformers and other electrical products have deeply cultivated the Middle East market with stable performance and high-quality services, providing more than 300 sets of equipment for local petrochemical, power engineering, and other fields. With the acceleration of Europe’s energy transition process, the demand for high-efficiency and energy-saving transformers continues to grow. The enterprise has accurately seized market opportunities and targeted optimized product energy efficiency indicators. The energy efficiency level of the certified products this time has met the requirements of EU Regulation 548/2014, which can meet the green and low-carbon needs of European customers.
It is understood that the first batch of transformers shipped to Europe will be used in local industrial park power distribution projects and new energy supporting projects, and the subsequent intended cooperation scale of orders has exceeded 500 units.
