Off-Grid Microgrid Solution for Telecommunications Infrastructure
Challenge: Remote telecommunications towers in the Middle East require a continuous and reliable power supply. Conventional diesel generators result in high operating costs and emissions, while a pure PV solution without backup would jeopardize supply security.
Our Solution: Lindemann-Regner, in collaboration with Iktifaa Energy, delivered a fully off-grid microgrid. The system combines photovoltaics, diesel generators, and a battery energy storage system (BESS) to ensure a stable energy supply under all conditions. Intelligent energy management maximizes PV utilization and minimizes diesel consumption.
Project Progress: The team meticulously planned the hybrid solution, installed PV panels, BESS and diesel backup, configured the energy management system, and tested peak loads under real operating conditions.
